On Sunday, about 40,000 runners will descend on the city for the Chicago Marathon. The 26.2 mile course starts and ends in Grant Park, bringing runners and spectators to several neighborhoods along the way.

So whether you’re cheering for someone special or just admiring impressive feats of stamina, here are some spots to check out near the route:

Northalsted
Expect lots of activity around mile 8. Grab a second coffee (or maybe chill out a little) at Wake ‘n Bakery.

West Loop
You’re more than halfway there! (Or at least, the person you’re cheering on is.) Grab a moment of respite at Bartelme Park.

Pilsen

More coffee and food anyone? Follow your stop at Cafe Jumping Bean with Gloria’s Tacos.

Chinatown
There’s a big turn here near mile 21. Fuel up for all that cheering with brunch at Gourmet Food.

South Loop

More breakfast near the finish line? Yes, please. Mr. South Loop himself recommends the mile high skillet at Honeyberry Cafe.
