'Tis the season for family, friends, and food 🤤 However and whatever you celebrate, here are just a few good eats around the city for some upcoming holidays.



Hanukkah, Dec. 18–26

Heritage Restaurant & Caviar Bar
in Ukrainian Village is offering to-go meals of matzo ball soup, whitefish salad, pickled herring, and more. 





Manny’s Deli in South Loop is selling brisket and chicken dinners as well as mini latkes.



Masa Madre
is an online Jewish–Mexican bakery serving up jelly-filled sufganiyot doughnuts this holiday.+ Check out more offerings from the Trib’s dining section.



Christmas, Dec. 24–25

La Josie
in West Loop & Solazo in West Elsdon are selling tamales in honor of Pepe Barajas’ late aunt who was a street taco entrepreneur. Order the pork, chicken, and other tamales through the end of the month.





Siena Tavern in River North has a fixed Christmas Eve menu featuring wagyu meatballs, gnocchi, and some pretty decadent desserts.





Minghin Cuisine has locations in Chinatown, South Loop, Streeterville, and Lakeshore East. The mini chain serves dim sum, crab rangoon, and more deliciousness 365 days a year.
