Wondering where to eat to celebrate Rosh Hashanah starting Friday and after breaking Yom Kippur fast Sept. 25? Chicagoans can mark the Jewish new year and Day of Atonement with the help of local restaurants.

What to Cook

🥖 Masa Madre is hosting virtual cooking classes to make challah for Rosh Hashanah and a challah wreath for Yom Kippur. The Mexican-Jewish bakery also has in-person classes after the holidays.

🫓 Eleven City Diner is offering brisket, matzo balls, chopped liver, and sweet matzo kugel for Rosh Hashanah as well as lox trays for Yom Kippur.
