Some Chicagoland Asian American and Pacific Islander–owned restaurants are participating in a weeklong promotion for AAPI Heritage Month starting Friday. Here are the ones that caught our attention — including some deals and discounts.

Try Thai dishes like coconut rice custard, chicken pot stickers, or hot and sour soup off this special menu at the Uptown restaurant. City Cast Chicago executive producer Simone Alicea gives it her stamp of approval.
